A Russian court on Friday placed the owner of one of its largets international airports under house arrest on charges of safety violations over a 2011 suicide bombing. Dmitry Kamenshchik, the owner of Moscow's Domodedovo airport, faces charges over the lack of scanning equipment on entry to the airport which enabled the bomber to bring explosives into arrivals hidden under his clothes. The airport owner was held after arriving voluntarily for questioning as a witness at the powerful Investigative Committee late Thursday.
